This is why people invented covenants. Polka dots? There was a dubious set of brothers in my hometown that ran a dubious retail establishment allegedly selling stuff that fell off trucks in NJ and had the most obnoxious signage on their store. The one brother lived near my uncle in this little housing development. The brother got pissed at his neighbors about something in the 1980s and painted his house the most eye-raping color of pink you can possibly imagine, which of course just enraged his neighbors. The house was still pink 15 years ago when I left.
