Wiseowl, RE: "LSI does sell chips to Sun. Every time I look inside a Sun box, I see LSI chips." There are chips and there are chips. Twister asked specifically if LSI sold the SPARC microprocessor chip to Sun. I thought not, but still checked LSI's home page and an everything - you - wanted - to - know about - SPARC page...no mention of LSI as a SPARC vendor in either place. TV Woops, I see in your link that Sun and LSI do have an agreement on a new version of SPARC for the thin client. I missed that one. Hope LSI sells a bazillion of them to Sun.
