Apparently Starr thinks that some of the witnesses in Paula Jones case may have also perjured themselves out of fear of reprisal.

Or maybe they just felt that their sex lives were none of Paula Jones's lawyers' business. I'd have lied, too. As the press keeps pointing out, people involved in civil cases are rarely prosecuted for perjury.

Or maybe, just maybe, they actually didn't have affairs with him. Jones's lawyers have apparently tracked down quite a large number of women alleged by someone or other to have been involved with Clinton. Oddly, not a single one, except for Flowers (who evidently hasn't been threatened; on the contrary, she's profited nicely from her account of their relationship) has been willing to testify. It strains credibility to imagine that not ONE would be willing to come clean.

I know I've said this before, but I'll say it again: if I have an affair with a guy that's between him and me. My choice, and I most certainly wouldn't later try to get him in trouble for it.
