Safe to say there has always been some unconscious desire of wanting to return to the womb, why strong human tribal orientation has to stress rituals of coming of age & manhood, combat & team training, though there's always been a tendency for identifying wisdom with women. Spartans were the epitome of that youth training but even they acknowledged Athena , though looked down on the Athenians as effeminent, all Greeks looked at the Persians as such.
