Hi Eric.....I was thinking AMAT has more room to grow, in part because of their broader product line and because of their Bigger actual dollars (as opposed to percentage of revenues) spent on R&D (more potential new products in the future)....also, the Opal/Orbot purchase combined with their Global presence should produce good things.
Earlier, I had thought the same thing as you are now pondering, because of the Lower PE of NVLS, making some switching in the opposite direction....
I don't put much stock in technical strength...maybe it's because anytime I tried to use anything in Marty Zweig's book, I ended up wishing I had tossed that book in the trash years ago.
One other thing, I share (as I'm sure you've noticed) with several others on this thread a mulish belief in J. Morgan.
