Somebody straighten me out on this. As I understand, JDSU will give 1.1 shares for each share of ETEK. Does that mean that ETEK shares should be 1.1 times JDSU? JDSU is about 239 so ETEK should be (1.1)(239) = 262.90 but ETEK is 234. Does this mean that ETEK is the correct play for this merger and not JDSU?
