Thanks for posting this one. I had heard about this, but not had the time to look anything up yet.

I find it interesting that anyone could claim 'racial bias' ... when the a sentence is mandated by law.

I also find it interesting anyone could think this was a "stand your ground' case. The woman was outside, away from potential harm, and went back in with her gun, evidently looking to shoot the 'ex'.

I also think it is interesting she went to the house where she knew this man was living. She should have asked for law enforcement to accompany her to do a 'civil standby' while she retrieved her property. Restraining orders work both ways .... she should not be contacting him either.

I don't know in what area she obtained her masters degree, but it obviously was not in common sense.

She's probably lucky she didn't have an attempted murder charge too.

Wonder if the 'ex' might have had a new girlfriend already?
