Mike: Whether or not Intel can compete in videoconferencing - they sure do cast a long shadow. Regardless of what they have up their sleeve, PCTL and the others cannot compete with ghosts. I am hoping that getting everything out on the table so that customers can compare offerings will get this market started again. One of the smartest people I know in the industry likes the work that PCTL has been doing on H.323 (LAN) products. He is also impressed with Videoserver. So let's bring on Intel (and Microsoft on the software side and Cisco on the rumored multi-point control unit side) and see what happens.
