Jack - Sorry to keep posting skeptical results re: AMD's future but..... Check out today's press release by Qualcomm re: their CDMA/PCS chip design. This may be a big boon for their chip supplier, since this is, as you have stated, a real growth market. The chip is compatible with Qualcomm's digital CDMA technology as well as existing analog AMPS cellular phones. It may be a big winner, especially considering the adoption rate of CDMA technology over the past 18 months. Funny - AMD wasn't mentioned as their supplier. Some other microprocessor supplier was.
