WHAT ARE THE EVIL DEEDS OF THE RATBAG PROFESSION?
The evil deeds are what the legal profession has done to the criminal justice system in order to make lawyers rich and important
people within it. The lawyers have given us a criminal justice system which now does not work for us. It works to make them
rich instead. The evil deeds form the first nineteen chapter headings of the book which has twenty two chapters. They are
collective evil deeds of the profession. Most criminal lawyers are criminal defence lawyers…..not prosecutors…..and all of
these evil deeds were done to make defence lawyering a lucrative high status job. These evil deeds are now incorporated into
standard criminal justice procedure It is important to understand that most criminal lawyers are defence lawyers and that
defence lawyers vastly outnumber prosecution lawyers. All of these evil deeds have been perpetrated by defence lawyers
against the criminal justice system itself, to disable it, and make it work inefficiently. Because the system is now so inefficient, it
fails to find out the truth, which is just what the defence lawyers' clients want. But it only fails to find out the truth if the criminals
hire lawyers, and pay them a lot. Now, provided any criminal pays enough to lawyers, he has a 50% chance of getting off, even
though the chances of his being guilty will be about 99%. Our system has become so inefficient that, for example, for every one
person the French acquit at trial, we acquit ten. Court procedures have become so intolerable from a victim's point of view, that
now most crimes are not reported to Police. Crime is rampant, while politicians simply deliver higher sentences for those few
who get caught.
The evil deeds, each of which gets a chapter to itself, are : taking control of the criminal courts off the judges, setting up a "get
the guilty off" justice system two centuries ago, punishing unlawyered defendants just for being unlawyered, divorcing truth from
legal ethics, letting lawyers be criminals, appointing lawyer "mates" to be judges, debasing the decision to prosecute, giving
guilty people bail, creating the concept of "non truth based" "fair trials" (a contradiction in terms), giving lawyers lots of rights
which get guilty people off, legitimizing the illegitimate "we won't tell you anything" defense, throwing away most of the evidence
during trials, ignoring the two main sentencing issues because to do so would reflect badly on lawyers, banning clients from
exposing the evil deeds of the ratbag profession, declaring war on their own clients, declaring war on the victims of crime,
declaring war on the community, waging aggressive warfare against the Police, and tricking the taxpayer into funding thousands
of criminal defense lawyers to commit millions of dirty deeds.
