So you don't want to be placed on a floating ice berg by your relatives then, is that it? Once choice in death and dying became a valid topic we entered a very complicated realm of debate. The desire to end one’s own life presents a whole range of conflicting questions. The prolongation of life under conditions of incurable disease and or suffering. Suicide and assisted suicide. Dying with dignity. Life style choices or habitual practices that are known to be self-destructive and lead to early death. Death wish type behavior. The granting of life as a sacred and noble struggle.
