Synchro : Speaking of the sins of your nation and the way God is speaking to Canada, we also know that God is speaking to our nation. If you go back to the book of Leviticus you will see that there were different levels of sins that the high priest would offer different sacrifices to God for. It may have been for the sins of an individual. In those circumstances the individual himself would have to kill the sacrificial animal. I really thought this was a very interesting way God deals with individuals that sin. Can you imagine the poor innocent animal laying there and you who sinned would thrust the knife into the animal killing it in your place all the while thinking this poor innocent animal would not be dying right now if it were not for my sin. So much for animal rights activists. Imagine if you were the one that were so much into carring for animals or if the animal were your favorite.
Then there were the sins of the congregation that were dealth with differently and the sins of the nation.
I personally was involved with a congregation that sinned and God was dealing with that congregation. I cannot say that I was the most innocent person in the congregation but I literally was dealing with a curse being put on me because God was dealing with the whole congregation. It was not until I left that congregation that the curse was lifted. But getting back to the sins of a nation. IF you are an individual in that nation those sins will cost you something . No one will be left unscathed when God is dealing with an entire nation that is sinning in God's eyes. You can be innocent or you can be guilty but you will not get off scott free even if you are innocent...In Christ...gregor
