Schultz's screed

Liberal talker Ed Schultz, the host of MSNBC's "Ed Schultz Show" and a radio program of the same name, sure had some harsh words for conservative personality Hugh Hewitt over the fate for the car industry.

Mr. Hewitt, as well as some other right-leaning media figures, has said he was personally boycotting General Motors and Chrysler products "for as long as the U.S. government owns huge blocks of the companies."

Mr. Schultz often uses his TV and radio programs to support workers protected by labor unions and indicated that Mr. Hewitt's boycott called for a vile, physical insult.

"I guess Hugh Hewitt has never taken out a loan in his life," Mr. Schultz said his radio show. "He's never had to depend on anybody else. He's probably the worst neighbor in his neighborhood, that's just a guess. I don't know that. But, I'd invite him over for a cocktail party. Sure, then I'd urinate on him because that's all he's worth. Anybody who talks like that about the American worker is not an American. He's anti-American and wants to see this country fail."
