until the unemployment figures address in a meaningful way the numbers that drop off as benefits end, and as long as there is no new job creation, i am going to hold to my belief that the number is understated....of course that has always been true and is also why the fed pays close attention to anecdotal evidence. obviously they know the methodology of calculating the percent is flawed.
