Rule #0: Trade in a Roth. This minimizes your record keeping efforts, and gains are tax free, until congress changes the rules.

If a Roth isn't an option, an IRA works well, but misses the Roth tax benefits. I don't know why I waited so long to embrace the Roth IRA. <ng>
