Dear Cyberken: I dont think you know many Muslims?? You are judging about 800 million people by the actions of a few fanatics and over zealous clerics. All of the ones I know are no different than you or I. Good, decent people who only want a good life. As to Powell, I dont always agree with him, but I think it a good think to have a moderation force to oppose more hawkish ones, if only to provoke debate and consideration and not just gut reactions. Since you seem to be on top of this Middle East thing, I am wondering why the Israeli's dont just KILL that Top Hamas man (dont know his name but he is a religious zealot) I suspect with him out of the picture the more moderate Palistinians could assume control and all would work out.
