News Item from Lombard

Following is a piece if news about a new patent granted to IOM. The funny thing is, on the same page there are more than one patents listed and look at the first one listed before the IOM patent

Number: US D389691
Type: Pillow and memorabilia trays for burial casket
Patent holder: Batesville Casket Co. Inc., Batesville, Ind.
Inventors: Dale G. Benedict, Marysville, Ohio, and Frank R. Wilgus, Powell

Number: US D389810
Type: Memory device
Patent holder: Iomega Corp., Roy, Utah
Inventors: Nichols Brawne, Columbus; Michael D. Johnson, Kaysville, Utah, and George Meyer, Ogden, Utah

You have to stretch your imagination, but there are two thoughts that these two patents bring to my mind. First, it is time to burry IOM! Second, (this is for those who are entrepreneurs) durable zip diskettes for burial along with your prized possessions..! (You can, for example, take with you a record of all your trading data...).

P.S. Sorry, Mr. Reid. This post was not intended for one person directly, but I could not figure out how to post the msg to myself, so I had to respond to somebody.
