It is enabled by default and so far as I can tell there is no native automated way to turn it off. Evidently it can be disabled with a code change, but I'm not gonna take a whack at it: 4webhelp.net There is a piece of freeware available called "CleanMOCache." Take a look at the Screenshot\|Preview from this link: pcwdld.com It appears you can configure it to clean the Mozilla (and possibly Firefox) autocomplete cache each time the browser closes. This might minimize what you find annoying. I haven't tried it and it evidently hasn't been updated since May 16, so it may not work on Firefox PR1.0.1 or even 0.9 which was introduced mid-June. - Eric -
