Sept-Isles Area Play - summary to 96/11/08
Hello everyone, I have been following this area play myself and was pleased to see that someone has set up a thread to follow it. I have never gotten in on an area play this early before and am excited to see how it turns out. Thanks for the tip about the Quebec Ministry announcements planned for the end of November. I will be awaiting the results of that one for interest.
I have put together a summary of information about all the companies I have come across so far that appear to have staked claims either in or near the restricted area. I will pass it on to you all for your own reference.

These three companies have formed an equal partnership syndicate for claims staked in and around the area. The syndicate has formed a joint venture with Kennecott Canada giving Kennecott the right to a 50% interest in the syndicate for $300,000 up front and expenditures of $2 million over 3 years.

The following is a summary of latest prices and shares outstanding to allow comparisons of market caps etc. I realize that many of the companies have other properties which are also supporting the share price. This is meant as a starting point only. For interest, I have also included prices as of 96/08/02, which I take to be just before all of this started.
Number of shares outstanding are taken from Stockwatch and I am not sure how up to date the numbers are. The figure for AIA especially needs verification, it may be lower than what I have reported. I don't know how nice this table will look when I import it into the response for the thread. I am not going to spend a lot of time fussing over it, if it gets a bit skewed.
