Advanced Gaming Technology, Inc. Files Registration Statement
VANCOUVER, Jan. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Advanced Gaming Technology Inc announced today that it had filed a registration statement with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. to register shares of its capital stock under Section 12 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. The registration statement becomes effective by operation of law 60 days after filing, at which time the Company will be a "reporting issuer" required to file annual, periodic and beneficial ownership reports and proxy statements with the SEC. Firoz Lakhani, President of Advanced Gaming, said that the SEC filing is the first step toward establishing a trading market for the Company's shares in the United States, where the Company already has shareholders. The Company's filing reports and other information with the SEC will make available to present and prospective investors and the investment community current public information about the Company, its business, properties and management and its financial position and condition. Mr. Lakhani said that the Company intends to apply for listing its shares on an established trading market such as the Nasdaq SmallCap Stock market as soon as practicable.
