SCUR - valuation is pure lunacy

Secure Computing Corporation develops and sells computer software products and services designed to provide secure extranets for companies engaged in electronic business.

Current price is $18.19
Market cap is 506 million
Cash is .99/share
Last 4 quarters -.66 (-.23,-19,-.08,-.16)
Estimate june quarter -.14
Estimate 2001 is -.34
Estimate 2002 is +.17

Assuming they can can turn a profit in 2002, which I highly doubt, 2002 forward PE is 107
They might run out of cash by mid 2002.

Short interest is 6.6%
Debt is zero
Highest price target by any analyst is 23 and lowest is 18

SCUR has 2 positives - ZERO debt and no insider selling (yet)

I am having a hard time justifying $7-8 and 18+ seems outrageous
Also the software space not exactly on fire, just ask ORCL and ITWO

Opposing views are more then welcome
