I reread your message. The original message that I responded to was talking about a specialized draft of a few select talented individuals and not a generalized draft.

Any draft that targets all citizens of the same age group would be legal though political suicide at this stage. Those articles posted thru your link were more like a smear campaign of Bush than anything else.
