Good point... ...my first purchase of Dell (May 97') was almost spontaneous and I paid a little over $107/share...there were plenty of naysayers, however I had heard of Dell before I moved to Austin from Minnesota. Once I was here and was exposed to the area of DELL...I bought without a second concern about price. It then ran up to around $190, subsequently there has been two more splits (or is it three?) and the price is even cheaper than when I bought. That said I did decide not to be greedy and twice pulled a nice chunk off the table. One time was influenced by those who just KNEW it was going to "tank"...and I foolishly allowed myself to get "sucked in"...never again. For those of you who are not sure what to do...conduct your own DD...but don't be like the people still waiting to buy their first computer because they want the best for the least amount of money. This is stock and its sector is a whole different kind of animal. Good luck! T.R.
