I've been wondering what kind of mechanism(s) might explain the
difference in the 12 month vs. 6 month result for the type 2 results.
The company's explanation is one possibility but perhaps there are
biochemical changes that might account for the loss of statistical signifigance with the increase in duration. Any feel for this?
Is it surprising that statistical significance is lost over time?
It would seem that an understanding of this type would be useful in appreciating how the ongoing results will turn out.
