roger and all, is it time to start shorting semi's and equipment makers. i am not sure about the forward pe's but c'mon, AMAT at current pe of 50, KLAC over 60, TXN over 100. what is going on? just last year, all of these stocks were running a pe in teens. also, i want to ask you experienced people a basic question (since i have been in the market since only 1992. i have not experienced a true bear market. will a bear market tolerate a stock with very high pe, but also with very high potential. in other words, what would happen to a stock like a rambus or amati or athome? thanks
