Dell continued the bidding war for data-storage company 3PAR, matching Hewlett-Packard's offer of $27 per share, or $1.8 billion. 3PAR's board has agreed to the revised agreement with Dell.

Dell's raised offer comes less than a day after H-P raised its bid to $27 a share for 3PAR.
