Ran into heavy smoke about 10 miles N of Denver. It got much worse as we approached Ft Collins so we decided not to venture further west and into the mess. About that time the wind increased so we headed further N.

Spent the rest of the day in Cheyenne, visited 2 museums. The Cheyenne Depot Museum and the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum. 65-90 trains go through Cheyenne's huge facilities every day.

Going to visit the ICBM Museum on Warren AFB tomorrow. We made a brief stop on the base for supplies today and saw Pronghorn Antelope grazing on the parade field. Also plan to visit the State Capital and that Museum, and the Nelson Museum of The West tomorrow.

Met some locals at dinner tonight. Great Americans here.
