Imaging Diagnostic Obtained Injunction In Cybersmear Lawsuit
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Jul 14, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Imaging Diagnostic Systems, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: IMDS chart, msgs) announced today the entry of a Final Judgment against Defendant Steven Cortopassi a/k/a "docpatel" by the Honorable Patricia Cocalis in and for the Circuit Court of the 17th Judicial Circuit, Broward County, Florida, on July 12, 2000.
Mr. Cortopassi has been permanently enjoined and restrained from posting any messages concerning Imaging Diagnostic System, Inc. and/or its parent, subsidiary(s), affiliate(s), successor(s), officer(s), director(s), employee(s), including, but not limited to, Richard Grable and Linda Grable, etc., on The Raging Bull or any other internet bulletin/message board and/or publishing any false or defamatory statements concerning Imaging Diagnostic Systems, Inc. and its current and former officers, directors and employees in any manner whatsoever; and Further, Mr. Cortopassi has been enjoined and restrained from interfering with any contractual/business relationship by and between Imaging Diagnostic Systems, Inc. and Richard Grable and/or Linda Grable, and interfering with any contractual/business relationship by and between Imaging Diagnostic Systems, Inc. and its employees, customers, suppliers, consultants, shareholders and/or investors.
This lawsuit reflects the dedication of Imaging Diagnostic Systems' management team to vigorously prosecute any persons that have distributed information that is either false, defamatory and intended to interfere with the Company's business and contractual relationships. The prosecution of this lawsuit is reflective of the Company's commitment not to tolerate the dissemination of any false or defamatory information and bring this abuse to an end for the Company, its officers, directors, employees, shareholders and investors.
