In general, any online poll will be very conservative. Only wacko lefty loons and the ignorant poor vote for lefty loons. Informed and having access to the internet shows the informed opinion. So the ratio of fools to informed with internet access is 1/2.

But as far as faking or hacking the poll, I know one could do it easily. The switch that allows a vote or not is a cookie. It is possible to find the cookie, delete it and then use a browser to vote again. One can if one is extreme write a program that simulates a browser, discards cookies and votes and votes. To examine or test such polls I wrote a crude script once that used -remote features of netscape.

But I expect little cheating really occurred. The set of those humans who can use a browser and have internet access voted in the percentages as shown.
