Wong Min is a powerful evangelist and church planter. She has led tens of thousands to Jesus since she was a teenager. She was imprisoned and tortured by police brutally when she was only 14 years of age. She always counted it an honor to suffer for Jesus for God has counted her worthy of the task!
She spent two years in the labor camp because of her faith and ministry for Jesus. Now, at age 26, Sister Min is mightily used of God as an instrument of His revival in the underground house churches in Shantung Province near the coast of the East China Sea north of Shanghai.
Not long ago in Shang-tung there was no rain for three months and the animals and crops dying under the scorching sun. Min went to preach in a village of around 1,500 people by the leading of the Holy Spirit with signs and wonders. God used her to preach prophetic messages of the judgment of God through drought and SARS. Hundreds got saved through the powerful messages of conviction. On the third night, suddenly there was a two hour outpouring of heavy rain on the Liu Village. All the vessels, ponds and ditches were filled to overflowing! Yet, two miles outside the Liu Village to the west, east, north and south, not a rain drop fell.
The village communist party secretary, Mr. Liu, heard about Wong Min and her disturbance in his village and wanted to arrest her and beat her up. He was totally shocked and awed by the surpassing power of God in her that he received Jesus Christ as Lord! He got on the local village loud speaker and ordered the entire village to turn to this God of the rain, proclaiming: “Believe God and His only Son Jesus and thank Him for the rain that we desperately need, all of you! Well, thank Him for the rain even if you do not believe in Him!”
As a result of this miraculous sign, all the villages came to Jesus by faith as Lord and even many from the neighboring villages came to faith in Him! Over 300 people were baptized in the now overflowing ditches! |
