gbh, A point on 56K. I have three USR Courier x2 modems that I upgraded to v.90. It was free, but after using the v.90 for a month or so, I uninstalled the upgrade back to x2. It just didn't work correctly. I was told that the v.90 upgrade was not finalized. My personal experience is that the manufacturers where in a big hurry to get this done. At our expense. Joe
