It is perplexing to me that if we are "doomed" by global warming that the GW crowd wouldn't be more accepting of nuclear power. In addition, the waste heat coming off of the reactor is high enough to power electrolysis of water to hydrogen gas. Maybe it is perhaps a conspiratorial belief of GW's that clean energy and technology already exists to power the world but the bureaucrats simply won't make as much money so therefore those projects don't get pursued???
