Molina (PAG.t) Jarret (Corel)
Molina, Paige is mentioned in www.appliance.com/app/lines.power.htm
I had to use 3 webcrawlers to find it again (DEC alta vista).
Paige is 'thin' enough that even my trades bend it.
I like the guy who founded it. He invents stuff, and so do I.

Jarret,
Believe me, that defense thing (I missed any news on it, and the IR guy
in Corel fobbed me off with some 'we have many irons in the fire' nonsense)
is very significant. Our sad little army was looking for a Word Processor
(perhaps one with Somali document look-up. joke) and WORD PERFECT was
offered by Corel.
If defense confirms WordPerfect, then the other government branches may
very likely continue to use and UPGRADE their WP SW. I know some Federal
workers, and their state of the art is now MS windows. It sucks, compared
to Win 95, so they may upgrade, and when they do, buy the Corel WP
upgrade.
Some bad news from Corel. I called April 10 to buy Corel WP suite 7 BETA
and they said it will be delayed, and that golden version will be in June,
not May. Typical Corel---we expect that. But since they have won (?) the Cdn
defense bid, and are flurrying other press releases, we can expect a slow and
steady rise in Corel.
imho
