Thanks for that insight. A couple points. NT has already publicly announced that they have orders for a billion dollars worth of meg modems (their proprietary product). In order for AWRE to get significant revenue from NT, a lot of product orders would need to be changed. Also, there is a time lag between a product announcement and delivery of the product. Quarters, not months, in a product of this complexity.

Yes, I mentioned Siemens' presence in Europe, and agree they are particularly strong in Germany. Internet access is very expensive in Europe currently. I have some family in Germany spending $200-$300 per month from home using ISDN. Like the RDOCs, DT is not incented to substantially reduce their per houshold revenue for internet access.
