Well, the problem is not at all related to executive selling, as far as I can tell. The problem is that Hector said ALL WAS FINE a week or two before the warning - and that AMD was on track to make a buck fifty for the year. Clearly, he was either completely in the dark or not telling the truth. The latter would most certainly be illegal, the former might even be, depending on the circumstances.

Hector's comments were widely quoted on this thread, so the timing and wording of his comments shouldn't be too difficult to uncover.
