SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov 13, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Network Appliance, Inc. (Nasdaq: NTAP chart, msgs), the leading provider of network-attached data access and content management solutions, today announced it has teamed with Exodus Communications(R), Inc. (Nasdaq: EXDS chart, msgs), the leader in complex Web hosting services. The alliance will enable customers to purchase NetApp(R) network storage and server-side content distribution solutions throughout the Exodus(R) worldwide network of Internet Data Centers (IDCs). The new NetApp solutions will help Exodus customers automate storage management and accelerate the delivery of content to their end users.

Exodus plans to offer Network Appliance's NetApp F840, NetCache(TM) 6100 and NetCache 1105 solutions to its customers. The NetApp F840 is a robust content storage solution providing customers with enterprise class data management capabilities. The NetCache 6100 and NetCache 1105 are content delivery appliances, offering server-side content acceleration.
