The combination of an impressive police apparatus and onerous laws shifting assets to the law makers who are also the controllers of that police apparatus worries me some. yep, imagine a fascist state (which we are barreling down the highway toward) with command and control mechanisms via the highly sophisticated police apparatus..... we are headed for very dark times if we cannot reverse course come november
