Bottom line is the bill was labeled exactly what it is - a tax. Combine that with all the other potential tax hikes coming at the end of the year, and I for one would not want to be the party running on that platform.
Yes, you wouldn't want too, or me either but if the number of takers exceed the number of makers then what it to them, they're not paying anything anyway.
