Oh yes, the Arabs were kind and gentle in the movies when I was a kid...And for a while, I pictured myself in love with Omar Sharif...Loved Lawrence of Arabia. BUT what the folks (who write junk that you were musing about) forget is, those movies were fantasy and some truth about a time that was far distant in the past. And of course, they never discussed the beheadings, stonings, hands and feet cut off for stealing, etc etc etc...
The people who think the Arabs are always right are the same people who think the United States and the West is ALWAYS wrong!
While I'm not overly fond of Isreal, and not overly fond of the Middle East in general, I surely don't see how ANYone can think that this is Israels fault....These are the folks that have been "gunning" for Israel since the land was returned to them in 1948. The Arabs have not missed a single day since 1948 of casting stones, missiles, bullets, etc Israels way, and yet when Israel FINALLY has just had it, then the Arabs complain that we, the West, caused it, and have to pull Israel off their backs. |
