Thanks for starting this forum.

CMP's Information week ran an issue about the return
to UNIX as an O/S. Windows NT works fine when it works.
Sometimes ( many times ) you need that to be always. Fail
safe!

The original UNIX source code came form Bell Labs. Novell
purchased it and became the Gorilla in the neighborhood.
Tuxedo spun out of NOVELL. (read original source code
from Bell Labs) So, now we have BEAS buying NCR (read
Bell Labs all over again) Now, as NT doesn't work and
you need a fix from Bell Labs to make it happen, we turn
to the folks at BEA Systems. (Look over to Lucent to
see what Bell Labs does for you.)

Bottom line, if you are sold on BEA systems, get acquainted
with Novell, Sun Microsystems, Java. They all go back
to original code from Bell labs.
