The following from this week's barron's on LSI/SUNW (page 59):

"...Even before last week, however, LSI shares have been struggling, depressed by speculation that LSI was losing business from two of its important customers--Sony and SUN. LSI supplies chip sets for the Sony Playstation; Sun uses LSI parts in workstations. According to Meeks (Director of Research at Jurika & Voyles, an Oakland based money management firm with $7 billion in assets--Ibexx), LSI says the Sony business remains solid through 1998, though LSI was less forthcooming about Sun."

I thought the above would be of interest.
