alan, peter lynch used anecdotal evidence to BEGIN some of his research. if he like the anecdotal evidence AND the fundamentals then he invested. not before. big difference, imho, than just investing on anecdotal evidence. we heard about leggs but we didn't hear about others where he liked the anecdote but not the fundamentals. the press isn't as good. btw, we agree that time will tell. hey, this q may be good. they may beat estimates. i just don't think it is a good bet b/c both muei and gtw are having problems. oh, and the rest of the industry sans cpq and dell. maybe it is just coincidence and everything will turn rosy pretty soon. we'll just have to wait and see...
