Hope you are feeling better.

Those machines are amazing but very expensive. I remember reading about the DaVinci device speeding up recovery from some surgeries by days because of the exactness of the incisions and cutting that is done. Last I saw, these machines cost over 1 million but that was years ago. Nice that your physician had access to it.

Going back to the article, I would bet that smaller, more rural centers would need to make a referrral to a major center to have their patients have access to a surgeon that has access to the device.
