Doug,

I'll rely on Herm and the rest to comment on the technicals of
SUPG. I looked it up on BASELINE, and here are the fundamentals
that I could find:

Trailing 12-month Earnings: $-0.69 (loss)
Price/Sales: 224
Price/Book : 25.7

The little blurb mentioned that Oracle's CEO Larry Ellison
owns 9% of the stock, so maybe he sees something that I
don't. Maybe they are coming out with products that will
raise lots of revenue. Perhaps you can talk to the founder
of the company and get an idea as to when they are looking
to become profitable (or even get significant sales) and how.

I have no idea why it went from $16 to $18, it looks like
this stock has historically been fairly volatile, though.

It looks like there is a (somewhat inactive) thread on
SUPG here, you might want to look at that for further
info.
