True, Rock, not all vapors are the same. But IBM's vapor is so far just a concept, a gleam in the eye of IBM engineers. IOM's vapor is actually out there, in prototypes that work! Thus, it would be more accurate to call IBM's gizmo "aether" (the non-existent stuff that was once posited to be the medium of light waves in a vacuum - as air is to sound waves) and IOM's Clik "mist" as it's more substantial than mere vapor. In fact "sprinkle" would be more like it. And by April, it could be a "shower". Sadly, "aether" will probably turn out, like its namesake, to be nothing but vacuum, though it might become something more substantial, like "fog".
Now how does SYQT fit into all this? I'm glad you asked. SparQue seems to be a nasty piece of work destined to help SYQT further pollute its bottom line with more red ink. With that in mind, I think it deserves to be called "smog."
I'll stop for now, but I'm feeling mighty inspired lately, so watch your step around here, fella. |
