Kenneth, Yes, politically courageous. Anyway, the former policy didn't work, except to embolden bin Laden. The "Policy of Containment" doesn't work with Cuba. The "Policy of Containment" didn't work in Vietnam. And the "Policy of Containment" didn't work in Iraq, either. I'm not saying that "Containment" shouldn't be tried, but it is a tool that, doesn't seem to have a very high success rate. re:"Very courageous of the swaggering Texan to send those young soldiers to Iraq. Yes, very courageous of him to do that."
