To Rick, Steve, rayy, Earl, KO, guy and all Bandore shareholders.
At time like this we all look for answers to problems that are created out of hands. Alot of us have seen our portfolio dwindle dramatically in the last few months. the slide in BAN has a lot of varalbles that are not connected with the company's prospects. We have to look at this situation in the context of a whole picture not just BANDORE. A few facts that all of us stock players have encountred since BRE-X fiasco.
A large number of Bre-X shareholders were using those shares to margin other speculative shares. We all know what happened after...A LOT OF MARGIN CALLS. Brokerages started to sell off companies that were fundamentally sound (BANDORE) to meet those margin calls. This resulted in a lot of shares being offered with no buyers. In a market driven economy such as ours when you have too much product and want to move it you start putting it on sale and you keep reducing your price untill you sell your inventory. Once the brokerage house needs to sell a stock to recoup its money it will sell it at any price it can get for it. Now. as the price gets lower it needs to sell more stock to recoup its money. This ends up to be a never ending circle untill the market absorbs all the stock. This is also month end. Brokerage houses have to get their books in order , cover margins and all accounts have to be settled. This results in more selling. Lets look at the institutions. I think they revised their stratagy regarding the % of their portfolio in speculative stocks. Don't overlook the fact that the whole gold sector is at thei 52 week low ( if you forgot Bandore is digging for gold).
We have all of the above working against us to drive our share price down.
Lets look at the positive side. Nothing has changed with the company ( see news release to-day). There is a potential for a multi million oz. ore body and we all know it. They are finding gold where ever they are drilling. There hasn't been one hole where no gold has been encountered. They have only drilled to an 800 meter depth. Most of the mines in the Timmins area are at 2600 meters . The company is fully funded for further explorations. They DO NOT need to raise any more. They will be bought out. They are not in the business of mining gold. If someone is actively driving the price down for a potetial hostile takeover don't forget the pioson pill provision that company adopted 18 months ago. If you are like myself you should take advantage of this situation and keep buying how can you go wrong

P.S. I dont work for Bandore or am connected in any way
