iGate Corporation, through its subsidiaries, provides information technology (IT) and offshore outsourcing services to large and medium-sized organizations. The company operates through three segments: iGATE Solutions, iGATE Professional Services, and iGATE Shared Services. The iGATE Solutions segment offers various IT services, including enterprise data management and data warehousing, business intelligence and analytics, system integration, client/server design and development, package evaluation and implementation, software application development, re-engineering, and maintenance services; and business process outsourcing services, which comprise call center, clinical trials management, and mortgage and claims processing services. This segment provides near shore and offshore services through its offshore development centers located in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, and Pune in India, as well as has operations in Canada, the United States, Europe, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and Australia. The iGATE Professional Services segment provides client-managed and supervised IT staffing services, including the design, development, and maintenance of custom applications, as well as the implementation, integration, and support of enterprise packaged applications, such as ERP and CRM software provided by third party vendors to application development managers and information technology directors. The iGATE Shared Services segment conducts offshore clinical trials on behalf of pharmaceutical companies. The company, formerly known as iGATE Capital Corporation, was founded in 1996. iGate Corporation is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
