I was in Dallas when they opened DFW. That system didn't lose baggage at first. It "ate" baggage. <G> Then the automated monorail from terminal to terminal iced up one day and stranded folks for three hours.

But the above and your example of the Denver airport are anectdotally singular. In the case of the KLSE I was struck by the sheer volume of mishaps and examples of non existent planning. Actually I shouldn't say "struck". My honest reaction had little to do with surprise.

As the venerable Cat Stevens sang: "If I ever lose my eyes, if my colors all run dry, oh if I ever lose my eyes....I won't have to cry no more."
