I'm with you

The Motorola depature coupled with IBM no longer licensig the Mac OS (IBM did nothing to help the PowerPC), has practically left a vacuum in the Mac OS world. This is indeed stunning news. I would think consumers would hold off purchases of anything Mac until the dust has cleared. This is very bad news for Apple. Unfortunately it was part of Apple's own undoing. They have mishandled the whole clone and CHRP issue badly.

This is what I am personally doing:

1. Not purchasing any more Mac hardware or software

2. Probably purchasing an Intel Pentium II in the future and going strictly NT route.

I'm not sure if I am speaking for many Mac Users, but these events lately have shaken my confidence in the platforms viability. We'll see how this shakes with investors.
